Abstract
Digitalized production engineering, smart manufacturing and operation across global supply chains are critical in today’s automotive industries, where data management, information and knowledge sharing, digital twin and AI-based decision making among companies are key success factors. This project will develop Cyber-Physical System (CPS) technologies and practical software solutions for smart assembly, logistics and material handling in automotive global supply chains. A unified framework and an inter-operable platform for CPAS (Cyber-Physical Assembly System) will be developed, and practical shop floor applications for end-to-end engineering and smart manufacturing across global supply chain will be achieved in this project. The project consortium is composed of manufacturing companies, IT companies, and research institutions from Sweden and Republic of Korea according to their expertise in CPS, and supply chain network locations.
